(Sam)antha Groff is native Filthadelphian currently based in New York City. She is an Integrated Design BFA candidate at Parsons the New School of Design. Samantha made her New York City debut in a solo exhibition at the Red Hook Gallery, April 2013 with her painting titled “Vodka  No Ice.”

Her hyper-personal, multidisciplinary work combines vulgarity and romance; a juxtaposition that violates the audience with a dripping sensuality. She does this by inviting the public to consume the most personal facets of her mind, revealing her intimate thoughts as a performance. Her perverse humor glosses over the darker themes of her work; her femininity, confrontational yet sweet, mimics the many delicate layers and folds of the female form.
